Bond Bridge Pro and Hunter Douglas PowerView Gen3 Motorized Window Shades Now Compatible

IP-to-IP integration between the Bond Bridge Pro and PowerView® 3 gateway brings Bond’s smart unified control to PowerView and other motorized window coverings and appliances in a home or business.

Cresskill, NJ – August 29, 2024 – Bond today announced compatibility between their Bond Bridge Pro and Hunter Douglas PowerView® Gen 3 automated window shades.

The Bond Bridge Pro RF-to-WiFi bridge brings intuitive, unified control of up to 50 motorized window shades/screens, awnings, pergola louvers, ceiling fans and more. Compatible with many motor brands, users manage these appliances via the Bond Home App (iOS, Android) or home automation system. The App enables scheduling, scene-setting, and integrates with virtual assistance applications like Amazon, Google and more.

Hunter Douglas PowerView automated window shades offer users control via the PowerView App (Android/Apple smartphone/tablet); the stylish hand-held Pebble® Remote, wall-mounted Surface Remote, or a variety of home automation integrations.

Now, by way of IP-to-IP integration between the Bond Bridge Pro (model # BD-1750) and the PowerView Gen 3 Gateway, the Bond platform brings control to PowerView automated shades, plus a wide variety of motorized window coverings, awnings, louvers, ceiling fans, or gas fireplaces. The integration is available on both the Bond Bridge Pro BD-1750 or Progressive Screens MagnaTrack series of bridges.

To enable PowerView control by Bond, installers set-up the PowerView Gen 3 Shades and Gateway, followed by the Bond Bridge Pro. The Bond Home App then “pulls-in” the PowerView shades.

With this integration, installers can also leverage Bond’s Sidekick for Shades (Gen2) flush-mount keypad to control the PowerView shades. This wireless, battery-powered keypad offers 5- or 1-button operation and even communicates state feedback to the Bond App. Lastly, the App provides direct access to Bond’s 24/7 customer service, further making for seamless installation and user experiences. The Bond solutions are all available for sale at www.bondhome.io.

“Many installations incorporate different interior and exterior motorized products. It could be that the home has Hunter Douglas shades inside, but shades or screens outside driven by a different motor brand. The beauty of our new compatibility is that it enables installers to provide their customers with a single, smart unified system for control of all,” says Bond CEO Zohar Shinar.
