When the International Window Coverings Expo (IWCE) travels to Charlotte March 25 to 27, it will offer over two dozen educational seminars from some of the biggest names in the Greensboro interior design industry. Over half of this year’s presenters have never spoken at IWCE before, and they will bring exciting new topics, ideas and perspectives to the window covering industry’s largest expo.
“We had a huge number of new people’s at last year show, but for the loyal people who return year after year, we thought it was time to offer them some fresh faces and different topics,” said show owner and producer Grace McNamara. “The seminars at IWCE will address some of the hottest topics in our industry, including motorized window treatments, eDesign and eco-friendly products. Our speakers will also cover subjects that continue to be important to our audience, including digital marketing, sales and business development. We draw a number of talented, well-known speakers who have a lot to offer this audience.”
New speakers include:
Mike Peterson (pictured at left) is the founder of the innovative marketing and brand firm Visionary Design Marketing, which is committed to brand marketing concepts that help companies large and small?better understand how to grow their businesses. We are honored to have Mike speak at Wednesday’s Lunch and Learn seminar “Design Harmony: Design’s Influence on Health and Wellness.” He will also present “Solutions to the Online Challenges Faced by Designers” and The Power of Personal Branding.”
Sara Lynn Brennan is the CEO and principal interior pesigner at Sara Lynn Brennan Interiors, the first and only full-service interior design firm in Waxhaw, NC, to specialize in transitional design. Her seminars include “How and Why to Package Your Services to Maximize Profits and Attract New Clients,” “Create Informational Lead Magnets to Earn Income in Your Sleep and Build Your Pipeline” and “Develop Partnerships with Designers to Create a Systemized Dream Team.”
Melissa Galt with Melissa Galt Interiors is a referral-building relationship-maker who doesn’t just show design teams what to do, but leads them through a remarkable experience that forever changes how they do business. She will present sessions entitles “Instagram Insights and Strategies That Capture Clients” and “The Social Media Routine That Drives Revenue.”
Deborah Moss (right) is the founder of Fairfield County, CT-based Windowful Interiors.?A global entrepreneur in technology innovation and environmental stewardship, she offers a unique perspective on sustainable window?treatment design and technology. Deborah will lead a panel called”Selecting the Best Motorization Option for Various Settings,” and be the solo speaker at “Motorized Window Coverings for Energy Savings and Climate Control” and “The Sustainable Window.”
Stacey Brown Randall helps small business owners and solopreneurs take control of their referrals, their client experience and their business. She is the author of “Generating Business Referrals Without Asking” and host of the podcast “Roadmap to Grow Your Business.” She will give two workshops: “Referrals Without Asking” and “Customer Service vs. Client Experience.”
Vitalia “Vita” Vygovska (left), CWFP, MBA, is an award-winning window treatment specialist, author and speaker.?Her company, Vitalia, Inc., has provided all-encompassing fabrication, measurement, installation and project management services for interior designers for more than a decade. Attendees can catch Vita at “Demystifying Window Treatments for Designers” and “Best Practices for Succeeding with Window Coverings in 2020.”
Michele Williams is the owner of Scarlet Thread Consulting, an advisory and coaching company focused on the interior design industry. Her workshops are “Best Pricing Strategies,” “Monthly Metrics for the Profitable Design Business and “Profitability – Know Your Numbers.”
