Coulisse, international supplier of window decoration, reports a successful, well-attended International Window Coverings Expo (IWCE) 2017 event. During the two-day show in Charlotte, North Carolina, Coulisse received a lot of visitors from both North and Latin America. Highlighted on show were the new Coulisse Pull Motion Motor and the child-safe Cordless Spring System.
“The show attracted a record of visitors from North and Latin America to the Coulisse booth. They were all excited about the new products demonstrated and the Coulisse Concept Store modules that were presented as part of the booth lay-out. Many visitors confirmed that Coulisse’s booth really stood out from the crowd. We wanted to show how Coulisse distinguishes itself from others”, so says Jop Vos, Managing Director Coulisse Inc.
Show highlights and innovations
Next to inspiring collections and innovative window covering systems, Coulisse presented the affordable and keen motorization of the new Coulisse Pull Motion Motor. A motor of which installation is similar to a chain mechanism, ensuring installation conveniences and time savings. The one-time programming is done by a push of the button, meaning no hassles with on/off-switches and program-modes. For the wireless operation of the blind no separate batteries, power supply cables and remote control are needed, the motor is simply charged by USB.
Furthermore, Coulisse introduced the new child-safe Cordless Spring System, characterized by the ease of installation that matches the simplicity of a chain system.
“Best for kids” certification
An ever-growing topic at this year’s Coulisse booth, was the theme ‘Child-safety’. Recently Coulisse Inc. received the “Best for kids” certification for a series of products that Coulisse offers in the United States. Best for Kids is a safety program, created by WCMA to help consumers and retailers easily identify products for homes with young children. Coulisse earned the “Certified” designation, as defined by the industry’s safety standard (ANSI/WCMA A 100.1-2012) From now on, Coulisse will carry this certification for the following products: Panel Track Absolute (wand control, motorized), Roller (cordless spring, motorized, crank), and Vertical blinds (motorized, wand control).
Best Technical Innovation Award for Coulisse
The icing on the cake was the “Best technical Innovation” award in the category Roman & Roller shades that Coulisse received at the WCMA Product Awards during this year’s IWCE show for the Coulisse Pull Motion Motor, a clever step-in model that offers the advantages of motorization, whilst taking away all complexity of regular motorization.
